ID Mouse Monoclonal anti-Cav1.2 Antibody
Antigen Description Cav1.2 is a subunit of the L-type voltage-dependent calcium channel, which regulates calcium influx in response to membrane depolarization. Cav1.2 forms the calcium-selective pore, in addition to the critical voltage sensor and most drug interaction sites. Through these functions, Cav1.2 mediates a number of calcium-dependent cellular processes including neuron excitation, muscle contraction, and neuroendocrine cell secretion. Mutations in Cav1.2 underlie several diseases, notably Timothy's syndrome and Brugada syndrome, which are cardiac arrhythmias.
Size 100ug
Immunogen Fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 808-874 of recombinant rat Cav1.2
Clone #N263/31
Antibody Isotype Mouse IgG2b
Host Species Mouse
Preparation The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Formulation The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS).
Application IHC-F
Storage & Handling Reconstitute the antibody with 200 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 0.5mg/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20C for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
